CCRN certification validates your knowledge of nursing care of acutely/critically ill patients to hospital administrators, peers, patients and, most importantly, to yourself." - AACN
WHAT TO KNOW!!:
2 year of acute/ critical care patient care with 875 hours within the last year.
5 year experience with minimum of 2000 hours in acute/ critical patient care with 144 hours within the last year.
Must have verification from clinical supervisor or educator of worked verified hours.
Time and duration:
There is a total of 150 questions with only 125 question calculated in final score. The maximum amount of time used for the exam is 3 hours. Not everyone has taken the complete 3 hours to take the exam.
